Good morning! I’m now halfway through my first college finals week! This week has seemed to drag out and I wish it would stop doing that because I want to go home. Here’s an update from me on what’s been going on so far:
- I turned in two papers yesterday
- I have my first exam today for my Practical Ethics class at noon
- I have my Latin final tomorrow morning at 8:30 in the morning
- My room is a big mess- because it’s finals week, that’s why.
- I got almost 8 hours of sleep last night
- I am not sleep deprived because I cannot study past 10 pm so I’ve been going to bed around 11:30
- I’m ready to go home and see my best friends and my family.
Okay, that’s it. Overall, life is looking pretty good. I have not had mid-finals crisis (Thank you, Lord) or considered dropping out of school. I’m going to go and do some final review for my ethics final now. Bye!
Saint Joseph of Cupertino, patron saint of test takers, pray for us!

Thank goodness I don’t have any exams today or tomorrow. To satisfy my active brain and hungry stomach, here I am writing another blog post while eating a Giant brand Nutrigrain bar (PSST! I’ve got a money saving guide for college students, or anyone really, coming up here in the next few days! Keep your eyes peeled and you’ll understand why I mention Giant!)

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! If you started singing Christmas songs after reading that first sentence, I don’t blame you. I started singing them as I was writing them! While it may be getting close to Christmas, the other “most wonderful time of the year” is finals week! (Haha no.) I started working on assignments for this coming week today and I wanted to do a quick check in to let people know what’s going on with me!

Hi, everyone! Welcome to Adventures of a Catholic College Girl! I’m Alexandra, and I created this blog to share my adventures as a college student. I’m a practicing Catholic attending the University of Mary Washington. I just started my freshman year at UMW and I wanted to share some of my adventures with the world. I also love photography, dancing, reading, and writing. On this blog, I plan to share some of my photos, my favorite books, essays, and other things during the adventure known as college. Thanks for stopping by!
